Social Skills Group:
Hands-On Social Development for All Ages

At ABA Bridge Solutions, our Social Skills Group offers a hands-on, personalized approach to help individuals of all ages improve essential social and play skills. Developed by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), this program is designed to meet the unique needs of each participant, providing a supportive environment where social development is encouraged and celebrated.
What we care for
Our self-paced social group welcomes children with a wide range of abilities, helping them build key social, communication, and play skills. We believe that every child deserves the chance to develop these skills at their own pace, which is why our program is flexible, tailored, and rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Most major insurances are accepted with an approved diagnosis, making it easier for families to access the care they need.

Ages 2-4:
Building the Foundations of Social Interaction
Our program for younger children focuses on early social development, helping them learn how to engage and interact with others in a positive and meaningful way.
We work on:
- Increasing Communication: Encourage verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Independent Play: Foster independence through structured play activities.
- Advanced Parallel Play: Teach children to play alongside others, building early cooperation skills.
- Cooperative Play: Encourage children to share, take turns, and play with peers in a structured environment.
Ages 5-7:
Enhancing Social Awareness and Communication
At this stage, we focus on improving social awareness, helping children interact more confidently with their peers. This includes:
- Greetings: Teach appropriate ways to say hello and goodbye, fostering polite interactions.
- Conversations: Develop conversational skills, including asking and answering questions.
- Advocating Needs: Help children express their needs and preferences effectively.
- Sportsmanship: Teach the importance of teamwork, taking turns, and handling both winning and losing gracefully.

Ages 8-13:
Strengthening Problem-Solving and Advanced Social Skills
For older children, we focus on refining their social skills, helping them handle more complex social situations with confidence.
This includes:
- Expanded Conversations: Encourage deeper, more meaningful conversations with peers.
- Sportsmanship: Teach teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship during group activities.
- Advocating Needs: Support children in expressing their needs and preferences in various social settings.
- Problem Solving: Equip children with the tools to resolve conflicts and navigate social challenges.
